In the latest call for the phase 2 of the SME Instrument GAEU Consulting wrote two of four approved applications for Swedish innovation companies. GAEU´s customers received a total of 4 million euro.
TLA Targeted Immunotherapies Ltd, founded at the Karolinska Institute, was granted 2,7 Million euro in EU contribution for an innovative project in the treatment of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). Xzero Ltd was awarded 1,3 Million euro for a breakthrough technology water treatment project.
Tomasz Wasik, head of GAEU Horizon 2020 Center of Excellence, comments:
"Both companies represents great technology and higly competent project teams. TLA was the only company in the Swedish life science sector that was granted. Xzero has a very interesting water treatment nano technology."
Aapo Säsk, Chairman of Xzero Ltd, comments on GAEU´s project manager Adriana Lysiak:
“Thank you for your unrelenting support for Xzero’s application for Phase 2 funding for the project ULTRAWAT in Horizon 2020 SME Instrument. Without your guidance we would never have reached our goal.”
